Abdulaziz A. Alnaim, CFA
Abdulaziz is the founder and Managing Director at Mayar Capital. Abdulaziz is the Portfolio Manager for the Mayar Responsible Global Equity Strategy and the Mayar Responsible Saudi Equity Strategy. Abdulaziz has over 20 years of investment experience and board-level experience in multiple industries including asset management, investment banking, insurance, food & beverage, amusement parks, chemicals, logistics, and education. Abdulaziz is a CFA charterholder and a member of YPO. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics from MIT.

Adam Siegel
Adam has over 20 years of senior commercial experience in credit, physical commodity trading, and principal investing at top-tier investment banks, a global commodity trading house and at his family’s investment partnership. At Bear Stearns and continuing at JPMorgan, he managed a proprietary energy trade book. Adam specialized in distressed situations and credit intensive opportunities. At Castleton Commodities International, Adam managed a proprietary physical trade book focused on international coal and freight. He had primary responsibility for the financial and operational turnaround of the largest coal storage facility in the NYMEX delivery pool. Adam co-founded and is the primary investment manager for his family investment partnership, Euclid Investments LP, focused on distressed and special situations in the public and private markets across industries. Adam holds a BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a JD from Boston College Law School.

Adamos Hadjiantoniou, CFA
Adamos Hadjiantoniou is the Co-founder and Senior Equity Analyst at StockOpine Ltd, an investment newsletter providing in-depth fundamental analysis of quality companies. Adamos started his career at Deloitte Cyprus and has over 9 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to co-founding StockOpine, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Demetra Holdings Plc.  Adamos holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and he is an ACA and a CFA Charterholder. 

Albert Muntane Casanova
Albert was born and raised in a small city close to Barcelona. His first investing experience was in the dot-com boom, and ended up in a bust. His professional experience has been developed in a variety of business management positions in different industries, with a strong focus in aviation.  He is currently CFO of Swiss Rockets while his previous 2 positions were at MUFG and DVB Bank. He holds degrees in Business from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and by IE Business School. Albert invests in public markets, but also in start-ups as a business angel.

Alexander Pichler
Alexander is the CEO of DELMO and is based in Bolzano, Italy. DELMO was originally involved in the B2B trade of dairy commodities in Europe and has evolved into an investment holding company that operates as a long-term investor in public companies. Prior to joining DELMO in 2002, Alexander was part of the Corporate Finance & Strategy team at McKinsey in Spain. Alexander holds a summa cum laude degree in finance from Università Cattolica Milan.

Anatoly Fedorov
Anatoly is a Portfolio Manager and the Head of Equities of Signet Group. Anatoly manages Signet’s Global Leaders portfolio and has experience working with Long-Short Equity and Merger Arbitrage strategies. Prior to joining the Investment Manager in February 2018, he worked as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan in EMEA Diversified Industrials Practice. There he conducted financial and valuation analysis, execution, project management and due diligence on large scale IPO and M&A transactions. Prior to his employment at J.P. Morgan, Anatoly was an equity research analyst at Genesis Investment Management. During his time there, he executed financial analysis, valuation and communication with corporate management for emerging markets.

Andrew Salton
Andrew consults (via Juniper Investment Consulting) for emerging fund managers on how to break out beyond a “friends and family” investor base and successfully raise capital from outside investors.  He has over 25 years of experience investing in equities and other markets.  He has managed global value, Asian equities, GEMS and multi asset-class portfolios. He worked in London and Hong Kong in various institutional portfolio manager roles before becoming the CIO of a Hong Kong financial group.  He is now based in London.

Andrius Jurkonis, CFA
Andrius is the fund manager of Axia Capital Fund.  He focuses on value-oriented public equities and private investments mostly in the US, Europe, and CEE.  He has been an active manager for over 10 years while previously he held management positions in retail, utilities, commercial and investment banking.  Andrius is a CFA Charterholder while he received his masters and undergraduate degrees from Vilnius University.

Arthur van der Linden
Founder of Grit Capital running 2 investment vehicles; Grit MultiFactor (a multifactor strategy), and Grit VariantView (a frontier/emerging market-focused value strategy). As a technology enthusiast I also set up Finneir; a syndicated investment vehicle investing in early and mid-stage technology companies. Since 2008, I’ve been heading RMA Group’s mergers and acquisitions in mainly Asian emerging and frontier markets. I started my career in Business Development at Dow Chemical after which I joined entrepreneurial ventures in San Francisco, New York and Amsterdam. I hold a Master of Science (Chemical Engineering) from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University in New York.

Artur Melnyk
Artur is an analyst at Parkview AG, an international multi-family office based in Switzerland. He began his career at Deloitte Transaction Advisory, where he specialized in conducting financial and valuation due diligence for M&A transactions. He subsequently held positions as an investment advisor at another multi-family office and as an investment analyst at Quantex AG, a value fund manager. Currently, Artur is responsible for investment analysis and fund selection. As a generalist he researches various businesses and industries looking for undervalued opportunities. Artur is a CFA Charterholder and received his undergraduate degree from The University of British Columbia in Canada. 

Avi Fruchter
Avi is the founder and CIO of Vintra Capital, a London-based investment firm, which seeks to compound investment returns over time through concentrated stock-picking within a universe of good businesses, and with an owner-oriented and independent mindset. Vintra is focused on Identifying such investments at a time when they are shunned by others, offering attractive entry points at dislocated valuations, thereby reducing risk and enhancing prospective returns. Prior to Vintra, Avi was co-founder and portfolio manager of Anavon Capital and prior to that an equity research analyst at Attara Capital and its predecessor, Atticus Capital. He holds an MSc from Cass (now called Bayes) Business School in London and a BA from the Jerusalem College of Technology. Originally from Belgium, Avi currently lives in London with his wife and five children.

Arko Kadajane
Arko is responsible for Ambient Sound Investments’ listed equity investments, investing ASI’s stock portfolio based on value-investing principles. Investments are made into different sectors except for non-ethical industries. He also plays the key role working out ASI’s overall portfolio and investments strategy. As Arko has been involved in stock markets since 1996 and has previously worked in the fields of private equity as well as listed equity, he has extensive expertise in the qualitative and quantitative business factors.

Beile Grünbaum
Beile is the fund manager of Grünbaum Value Invest, a Buffett-style alternative investment fund. Prior to her investing career, Beile spent 13 years as a financial journalist for, among others, Reuters and Danish national newspapers Berlingske Tidende and Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten, at the latter she covered banks during the financial crisis. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and a second Master’s degree in journalism from NYU. Beile lives in Cascais, Portugal.

Ben Grenier
Ben is a Hong Kong-based investor who manages assets for his family’s investment office, Philippe Ventures. He specialises in natural resources and the energy transition. His prior experience includes buy-side roles as a portfolio manager and investment director at financial institutions in Geneva and Shanghai, among them Bank of China. He earned a Master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Columbia University, a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, and is an alumnus of INSEAD. 

Berna Barshay
Berna has three decades of experience as a hedge fund analyst, portfolio manager, and trader. She has been a research contributor to the Public investing app and the author of the Empire Financial Daily, a financial newsletter with over 200,000 subs. Berna began her Wall Street career at Goldman. She has her BA from Princeton and MBA from Harvard. She lives in New York City with her husband, daughter, and their three rescue dogs.

Bjorn Beam
Bjorn Beam is a geopolitical and technology expert at Arcano Partners, with over a decade of experience in the intelligence community, including extensive work as a CIA officer where he served in the White House. At the CIA, he specialized in paramilitary and covert operations, notably disrupting North Korea’s weapons programs by sabotaging their systems and facilitating Western analysis of their technology. He also served on the Presidential Daily Briefing Staff, informing the President and senior cabinet members on global intelligence events. Bjorn advises NATO countries on geopolitical and technology issues and helps multinational companies build resilient strategies against digital and geopolitical disruptions.

Christopher Detweiler
Dr. Christopher Detweiler has a PhD in Chinese military strategy. After working for Boston Consulting Group in Zurich, he helped found Switzerland’s first activist fund Veraison Capital in 2014. He also cofounded VT5, Switzerland’s first and only SPAC in 2021 (now trading under RSGN). He currently travels frequently and focuses on frontier markets.

Christopher Reese
Chris Reese manages a portfolio of public and private investments for Fermont Capital, the single-family office of his immediate family, with a focus on investing for the long-term with talented entrepreneurs.  His prior experience includes acquiring and operating a SaaS business, founding an emerging markets public equities fund, and foundational roles in investment banking and strategic planning. 

Christos Spanos, CFA
Christos Spanos has been in the investment business since the mid-nineties. He holds a number of board seats at Financial Services companies and funds, as well as acting as an adviser to various private entities and HNWIs. Throughout his career, he founded and managed a number of outfits in the wealth management and fund management sphere. He manages private portfolios primarily following quantitative strategies as well as running a private commercial real estate company.  He holds an MBA and an MSc in Medical Radiation Physics and has a BSc (Hon) in Physics.  He is a CFA Charterholder.

Daniel Bols
Daniel Bols is the founder of the Somnium Capital Fund, a family office. He began his career after earning an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management,
working at Elsevier in China before transitioning into private equity in San Francisco. In 2006, Daniel co-founded Senso, scaling an industrial flooring business into a global design-led brand. In 2013, during the Dutch housing market downturn, he founded the Somnium Capital Fund, initially investing in residential real estate with a focus on long-term cash flow durability. In 2020, Somnium evolved into a family office dedicated to public equity investing.

David Barata
David was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is currently managing his family’s financial assets and takes part in the boards of several businesses, including a hotel chain, transportation companies and a bank. He attained his business degree from IBMEC in 2023, while he simultaneously also completed, Aswath Damodaran’s advanced valuation class at NYU Stern and the Columbia Business School’s Value Investing course.

David Kessler
David Kessler is a Portfolio Manager with Robotti & Company Advisors, LLC.  Prior to joining Robotti & Company, David was a Research Analyst Consultant with Aquamarine Capital, a value-oriented hedge fund. He also held portfolio management roles with Rochdale Investment Management and Morgan Stanley. David received an MBA from Columbia Business School and was a member of Columbia’s Applied Value Investing Program.  As an MBA student, David co-launched Columbia’s first student-run investment newsletter, “Graham and Doddsville.” He also gained valuable experience as a summer intern with Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb (Sequoia Fund). David graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing.

Dimitris Zisimidis
Dimitris is a seasoned investments and finance professional with over 30 years of experience in the Cypriot, Greek, and international markets. He is currently Country Manager for Cyprus at EXT LTD (Exante), a CySEC-regulated prime brokerage. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Head of Private Banking at Piraeus Bank Cyprus / AstroBank Plc, where he was an integral part of the Investment Committee, and managed discretionary portfolios. Earlier roles include Portfolio Manager at Laiki Asset Management, Manager at Piraeus Bank/AstroBank International Banking Unit, Corporate Account Manager at Laiki Bank, and Auditor at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where he qualified as an accountant. He holds degrees in accounting and finance, is a Certified Public Accountant, a CISI member, and holds the CySEC Advanced License.

Evan Tindell
Evan is Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Bireme Capital. He develops firm-wide investment strategy and performs both bottom-up research and portfolio management for the flagship Fundamental Value strategy. ​Evan worked for 7 years at Ballentine Capital, where he was the lead equity analyst at the value-oriented long/short equity fund. Prior to that he spent 3 years as a professional poker player, where his successes included a 10th place finish at a European Poker Tour event. He graduated in 2007 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where he was a four time All-American in tennis.

Evgeny Kuznetsov, Family Office (Switzerland)
Evgeny runs a single-family office based in Geneva, Switzerland.  The portfolio aims to achieve superior returns over the long term by allocating strategically across asset classes.  Evgeny has more than 20 years of fund management experience.  Between 1996 and 2016 he worked as an analyst, portfolio manager and, eventually, as a partner at London-based Genesis Investment Management LLP, a  long-only Emerging Markets specialist fund management company and a subsidiary of the Boston-based Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. Over the course of his career Evgeny conducted fundamental research and made investments in listed companies in various emerging markets.

Evgeny Pundrovskiy, CFA
Evgeny holds a CFA designation and has a broad expertise in public markets valuation, private equity and venture capital investments. He used to work 10+ years in the wealth management industry, including leading Russian multifamily office UFG Wealth Management. He currently works as a Chief Investment Officer at Cyprus-based family office managing 1.3 bn of assets in Fixed Income, Equities, VC and Real Estate.

Evgeny Tarakanov, CFA
Evgeny works as a financial director at Bilarex Co. Limited that operates primarily in the areas of private wealth management and consultancy services. Evgeny started his professional career in 2006 at PwC Cyprus, initially with the financial services competence of assurance and advisory line of services and later at consulting of Cyprus Investment Firms. Evgeny is a CFA® Charterholder and an ICAEW Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA). Previously he obtained a specialist degree in Public Administration (with Honours) from the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance at Kostroma State Technological University (Russia) with the first place at all-Russia annual economics completion of the universities’ teams in St Petersburg (Russia) during the university years. 

George Harper
George works as an Analyst under Daniel Abrahams at Alfreton Capital. George joined Alfreton Capital in 2021 after completing two internships with the firm. He is enrolled as a candidate in the CFA Program and holds a First Class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, where he studied at St Anne’s College.

Gianluca Ferrari
Gianluca Ferrari is the Founder and CIO of Clearway Capital, an investment firm focused on impact investing. Clearway adopts an opportunistic value-oriented approach and uses shareholder activism to drive returns and impact. Prior to founding Clearway, Gianluca was a director at Shareholder Value Management, where he led the fund’s activist investments.

Guy Mollet, CFA
Guy Mollet is a private investor. His background is in consulting, oil & gas, and banking. Guy has worked for Mizuho, Dresdner Kleinwort, Enron and Price Waterhouse. He studied physics at Technische Universiteit Delft, did a MSc in finance at the London Business School, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Ingvar Rueckemann
Value investor from Sweden with a background in real estate and wealth management. Now fully focused on his own ventures, including managing a public stock portfolio on eToro.

Ivan Fomenko
Ivan is a CIO of a private family office fund with $35m AUM. Previously, he was in charge of a large Russian asset management company with more than $1b AUM. Ivan has more than 15 years of experience in managing different types of investment portfolios. The main priority is asset allocation. Portfolios under management have a skew reflecting the top-down approach under different macroeconomics issues.

Joel Schols
As a telecommunications engineer, I’ve always worked in the ICT industry. 20 years ago I started my own business. In 2018 I sold my company to one of Belgium’s leading operators and started to read the best investing and psychology books. Value investing is like a  ‘aha erlebnis’ since my company grew mainly by acquiring stressed businesses. Together with Sam Hollanders, I started Chess Capital, a ‘shameless copied’ Zero  Management Fee fund. Today we are a compartment in an existing Umbrella structure. We are in the process of opening a regulated fund in Luxemburg. We also run an educational website (in Dutch). My aim is to learn a lot and to give back as much as possible.

John Zolidis
John Zolidis is the Founder and President of Quo Vadis Capital, Inc.  Mr. Zolidis formed Quo Vadis in 2017 to provide high-quality research on the restaurant and retail industries for institutional investors as well as consulting services to companies in the industries.  Previous to founding Quo Vadis, Mr. was a sell-side analyst at Buckingham Research covering retail and restaurants.  Mr. Zolidis also served as a buy-side consumer analyst at Buckingham Capital Management, a long-short hedge fund.  He was with Buckingham since 2001.  He was added to the Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” list in 2005 for the Specialty Stores category.  Prior to Buckingham, he got his start on Wall Street at Sidoti & Co. and Morgan Stanley.  His undergraduate studies were at Mansfield College, Oxford and Kenyon College where he graduated with a degree in Philosophy.  Mr. Zolidis currently resides in Paris, France with his wife and two daughters.

Jonathan Tanne, CFA
Jonathan founded Tangible Investment Management in 2012 originally managing a long only listed equity portfolio for a family office. Tangible’s investment strategy is a long-term approach with an emphasis on compounding and capital preservation. Jonathan was born in South Africa, established in Australia, and lives in London with his wife and three children. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Julian Harper, CFA
Julian Harper is the founder and CIO of Tico Capital Management, a London-based hedge fund focused on global equity investments. Prior to founding Tico Capital Management, Julian worked at Franklin Templeton, where he assessed global small and mid-cap equity opportunities across industries. He previously worked at AXA Private Equity where he focused on secondary, co-investment, and mezzanine investments. Julian is a trustee of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism & Policy and a former trustee of the Carnegie Center for Ethics in International Affairs. Julian graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Swarthmore College.

Kerem Aksoy
Kerem is the founder of Glacier Pass Partners, a New York City–based private investment partnership focused on global micro‑cap securities. Glacier Pass is a long‑biased, value‑oriented firm investing over a three‑ to five‑year horizon in high‑return‑on‑capital businesses at discounted valuations. Prior to founding Glacier Pass, Aksoy worked at BlueMountain Capital and Citigroup.

Leonardo Mader Furtado
Leonardo is the portfolio manager at Lema Capital, a Swiss-based asset manager that he founded. He manages a concentrated portfolio of companies listed in North America and Europe, applying value investing methodology, and advises an agricultural business in Brazil. Previously, he worked for the Brazilian stock exchange and as a corporate lawyer for global companies and law firms. Leonardo is active in sports such as swimming, cycling, and lives in Oberaegeri, Switzerland, with his wife and daughters.

Loucas Demetriou
Loucas is the founder of Totalpro Services Ltd, an Administrative Service Provider licensed by the CySEC.  Loucas spent over 12 years as Executive Director, risk manager, and head of middle and back office of Argo Capital Management, an award-winning London based emerging markets hedge fund.  Previously, he worked as a broker, investment consultant and financial analyst in the brokerage industry.  Loucas is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner, holds an MA degree in Finance from the University of Manchester and a BSc in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Manos Panayiotou, CFA
Manos is the Group Pensions Specialist at Universal Life, responsible for Pension Plus, the company’s group pensions solution for corporate clients. He previously served as Executive Director and COO at eCREDO, an Electronic Money Institution, and has experience in portfolio management, wealth advisory and investment analysis through prior roles at Bard Worldwide Group and Hellenic Bank. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Higher Diploma in Actuarial Science from University College Dublin and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Patras.

Manpreet Singh
Manpreet manages a portfolio of 20–30 stocks with a tilt towards small and mid-cap names. The fund is domiciled in the Cayman Islands and backed by a single family office that Manpreet has worked with for the last 7 years. He was born and raised in India and has been based in London for the last 15 years. Manpreet is married and has one daughter. 

Marina Sitsiuhina, CFA, CPA
Marina is an analyst covering the consumer discretionary and information technology sectors at Kopernik. She has been in the investment industry since 2010 and joined Kopernik in 2018. Earlier in her career, she held positions at GE and completed internships at Lizard Investors, Brandes Investment Partners, and William Blair Funds. Marina attended Minsk State Linguistic University in Minsk, Belarus, and has a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She has received the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a CPA.

Mariya Messerli
Mariya is an investor managing her family private funds, based in Switzerland. Her investment philosophy is global and long-term focused with aim to compound value over years. Prior to turning her investing passion into a profession, Mariya had a decade of experience working in various corporate finance roles in Swiss Re. She holds a MSc degree in Accounting & Finance from Umeå University, Sweden. Mariya is a life-long learner, a cheerful thinker and a mother of two young kids.

Michael Kasper
Michael is a Syrian / Armenian living in Cyprus since 2012. He started his career three years ago as an intern and now is the assistant portfolio manager at Aquilla Nummus Ltd (a boutique asset management company managing discretionary portfolios for HNW and UHNW individuals with over $200 million in AUM). During his free time, he plays tennis, walks his dog and posts investment ideas on his blog (mbkvalueinvesting.com). He holds a BSc in Finance and Economics from the University of Nicosia, an MSc in Financial Services from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) and is a CFA Level III Candidate.

Mitchell Hockenbury
Mitchell runs a financial planning firm in Warren Buffett’s hometown of Omaha, Nebraska and is an author and speaker. Prior to founding 1440 Financial Partners, he served in both the US Marine Corps and US Army where he retired after 20 years of service and multiple combat tours. He received his MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterrey, CA and his undergraduate degree is in Finance and Banking.

Milo Jones
Dr. Milo Jones holds an MBA from London Business School and an MA & Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Kent.  He currently teaches geopolitics, investing, and intelligence analysis in Madrid, London, and Fontainebleau.  Previously, he worked at Accenture in London, for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in New York, and served as an officer in the US Marine Corps.  He is the co-author of Constructing Cassandra:  Reframing Intelligence Failure at the CIA, 1947-2001, published by Stanford University Press.  In addition to teaching and investing, Milo serves on the board of several private companies, is a Fellow at the Center for the Study of Digital Life and the Fundacja Instytut Bezpieczeństwa i Strategii, and a member of IISS and AFIO.

Naard Broeckaert
Naard is a partner at Wealtheon Asset Management (AUM EUR 600 Mio). Wealtheon is a wealth manager with offices in Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. He is responsible for the value investment strategy at the firm since october 2020. Between 2007- 2020 Naard managed a multi-family office business (Torrebos). Torrebos merged with Wealtheon in 2020. Lives in Belgium. Married with 3 children.

Neža Molk Herič
Neža Molk Herič, originally from Slovenia, holds a master’s degree in biotechnology from the University of Ljubljana and has developed a deep passion for finance and investing from a young age. A dedicated value investor, she has been actively managing her portfolio on the eToro platform for four years. Focusing on public equities, particularly in Europe and the United States, Neža’s strategy has attracted significant attention, with over 2,300 users on the platform choosing to copy her portfolio.

Dr. Olaf Hein
Currently board member at investment firm Elbstein AG. Three decades of experience of public markets investing with a focus on Germany equities. Has held numerous positions within Deutsche Bank (New York, Frankfurt) and various boards in Germany.

Ole Søeberg
Runs a family office via Nordic Investment Partners.  He also works as an introducer for Brock Milton Capital, makes an investor podcast with Børsen and Euroinvestor in Denmark, as well as doing Nordic Value Conference and attending FatAlpha Value (Cyprus), ValueX and other similar events. He began his career in 1984 when he founded Dansk Aktie Analyse (independent research boutique in Copenhagen).  In 1985 he worked for Privatbanken in international equities.  In the 1990’s he was head of international equities in Denmark for Carnegie and Alfred Berg.  He worked as head of Investor relations for Denmark’s TDC (1999-2005) and Tryg Insurance (2006-2010).  From 2011-17 he was fund manager and Chief Investment Officer in Skagen funds, Norway.  Ole has an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and has done executive courses at IMD and INSEAD.

Oleg Obrezkov
Oleg Obrezkov is based in Cyprus and is currently managing his own money. Oleg is MA in Economics and PhD in Mathematics, between 2005 and 2020 he worked at a global multi-billion hedge fund focused on special and distressed situations (since 2009 as Senior PM).

Paolo manages a small private family investment company, Vidya Capital.  He started to invest with a value oriented approach (mostly focalizing on high quality companies) in the early 90’s, after he learned about Warren Buffett and Value Investing. He became a full time investor in 2013.  Opportunities are sourced mostly in Europe and the US, and are sector and size agnostic.  Previously Paolo has been an executive in the Pharmaceutical industry in the US, UK and Italy and then a senior partner at Egon Zehnder, one of the largest Executive Search and Management Consulting Firms in the world.  He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Rome.

Peter Madouros
Peter manages a concentrated portfolio of US stocks for his own account. Previously, he was the CIO of a private credit fund (Duke Capital) focused on the UK lower middle market, and an investment professional at Moore Capital Management and Pollen Street Capital.

Peter Smith, CFA
Peter is the founder and managing partner of Palm Harbour Capital LLP, a London based boutique investment firm that manages the Cobas Lux SICAV Palm Harbour Global Value Fund. Prior to founding Palm Harbour Capital, he worked as a senior equity analyst at Cobas Asset Management and worked alongside renowned Spanish investor Francisco García Paramés, who then seeded Palm Harbour Capital. The Palm Harbour Global Value Fund invests primarily in global small and mid-cap equities with an emphasis on Europe. Peter holds a BBA in International Business from Texas Tech University, has a Masters in Finance with a concentration in Investment Management from the London Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.

Peter is a private investor from Germany. Before focusing on public value investing, he started his career at Swedish buyout firm EQT and then co-founded EOS Partners, which does SME buyouts in the DACH region. Since November 2022, he acts as Senior Advisor to EOS Partners.

Robert Leitz
Robert is the Founder and Managing Director of iolite Capital. Before iolite, he held positions at Glencore (the world’s largest commodity trader) and various financial institutions, including TPG Credit (a hedge fund), Goldman Sachs’ European Special Situations Group, and KPMG Corporate Restructuring. Robert graduated from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, with a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics, and wrote his master’s thesis under the guidance of Prof. Eli Noam at Columbia University, New York. Robert is a non-executive director of Opterion Health AG and a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), where he currently serves as the Finance Chair for the Zurich chapter. Roberto Varandas
Roberto is a senior investment management executive with over two decades of experience. He has held senior executive leadership roles across top-tier asset managers and specialized platforms. Sam Rudnick

Shmuel Goldberg
Shmuel is an analyst at KAI Capital and has been consulting for Century Management alongside Arnold Van Den Berg since 2023. His passion for value investing began after watching Warren Buffett’s paradigm-shifting talk at the University of Florida, inspiring him to immerse himself in the field. He is actively pursuing his passion for investing under the mentorship of Arnold Van Den Berg, William Green, and Guy Spier. Originally from South Africa, Shmuel represented his country in both chess and judo.

Simon Caufield
Simon has been a professional investor since 2007 and manages family capital and has a private client advisory business. He specialises in deep value, cyclical and cheap compounders in the industrial, consumer discretionary and non-bank financial sectors. Tim McElvaine, CFA
Tim McElvaine is the Founder and President of McElvaine Investment Management Ltd. Tim developed his value-oriented philosophy during his 12-year career with Peter Cundill & Associates where, amongst other capacities, he served as Manager of the Cundill Security Fund (1992-1996), Co-Manager of the Cundill Value Fund (1998-2003) and Chief Investment Officer (1998-2003). Tim Staermose
After finishing his studies in Australia, Tim Staermose spent 25 years working in equity research and managing money in Asia, including South Korea, The Philippines, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. After finding inspiration on a 2018 trip back to Tanzania, where he was born, in 2020 Tim launched the African Lions Fund, to invest in sub-Saharan Africa frontier market equities. African Lions Fund has achieved a CAGR of 17%+ since inception, and grown from $3.9mn at its outset to be managing more than $41mn today. Tim is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with his wife and two daughters. 

Urh Krajnc
After graduating from Illinois State University, Urh started to manage a portfolio of US equities for a wealthy family. With a good track record and the lack of opportunities in Slovenia, he decided to move to Cyprus and to start managing assets for Ston Limited – an investment firm with a concentrated portfolio of small-cap equities. 

Vasilis Spanos, CFA
Provides regulatory compliance consulting to investment firms and fund managers by identifying weaknesses in their policies and procedures, assessing the risks and impact of these weaknesses, and recommending practical improvements to ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory obligations. He has in-depth knowledge of MIFID II, UCITS Directive, AIFMD, AML and other relevant regulations. Vasilis was the Group Internal Auditor of FxPro Group from 2016 to 2022 and prior to that was at CySEC’s Supervision department for 5 years. Vassos Kyprianou, CFA
Vassos is a member of the Board of Directors of Invel Real Estate Partners Greece SAS, a Fund with assets under management in excess of EUR 2.5bn. He is also the Group Finance Manager of Invel Real Estate. Vassos has served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at capital.com, a brokerage business. Yasir Siddiqi, CFA
Yasir is a private investor focused on Canadian small and microcap equities, an asset class he’s been involved in for nearly fifteen years with an investment style that blends value, GARP and a lesser extent technical analysis. Professionally, he is a CFA Charterholder, has worked in various sell-side and corporate development roles specializing in the natural resources sector.
